Not for everybody, you are very isolated at the top of a big hill. The cave is worth a look and the monkeys are fun; it's a birdwatcher's paradise. Views are gorgeous, especially sunrise and sunset but to get anywhere is expensive in a taxi or jeep. Unfortunately we couldn't visit the Wayanad sanctuary because of a drought - it had actually been closed for 2 months and no-one told us. So with nothing to do we left 2 days early - no refund.
Food was quite basic and the same dishes every meal (except breakfast) . Don't bother with the toast, it's just slightly coloured bread slices! Our room was quite basic too and we thought it was too expensive for the facilities provided.More
