Stopped here at noon on a Sunday and they had a brunch buffet. While we didn't get a Bloody Mary, the prices were $5 for it. They cook omelets to order (the waitress takes the order). The view of the river is really nice, too.

The location on the river is very nice, view is great of downtown Louisville.
The service was average, not a lot of people in the place on a Tuesday night so not much staff. The food came quick and and she forgot on side item and forgot again to bring it until we were done eating. The food was average, we had a burrito special and the salmon, neither one would you brag to anyone about having.
Overall, nothing special.

We had lunch here, the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was delicious. They have over 40 beer selections including many small craft beers. The service is outstanding and the view over the Ohio River into downtown Louisville is wonderful. Very nice restaurant.

This was our first time in the area and Buckhead was highly recommended. They were very pleasant as soon as we walked in. The waitress, Rachael, was extremely good. And she went out of her way the make sure everything was just right. Her bubbly personality was awesome. Will stop in again if ever in area.

Buckhead is a local chain. The atmosphere (decorating) at the restaurants is based on that of a mountain cabin. The menu even reflects this theme. However, one thing that breaks from the theme but holds true to the local situation is the serving of a favorite developed in Louisville -- the Hot Brown -- turkey and ham served over toast points topped with a white mornay sauce, a slice or two of tomato and crisp bacon with a dash of seasoning. It is delicious and properly served. I should know, I've eaten a Hot Brown at practically every local restaurant that offers them including the famous Brown Hotel where the plate was first developed. I always take friends and family from out of town to Buckhead to get a taste of the local cuisine.
