Top floor rooms here are great, but those on the ground floor suffer from unbelievably noisy air conditioning units mounted on the ground outside them (two units outside each window - one for each floor). This is a shame as otherwise I couldn't really fault the hotel, and they did let me change rooms twice to find one that was quiet, and the hotel is far enough away from the main highway that there's no traffic noise. The staff were friendly & helpful, the breakfast included bacon, biscuits with gravy, waffles and all the usual items and was kept well stocked. The rooms themselves were among the best I have seen in a reasonably priced motel with a large sitting area, including desk, separated from the sleeping area by the bathroom and small kitchen area. They were kept clean. There's a small but useful fitness room, but no pool.
My room was definitely worth the 5 blobs for the price I paid (and I don't give many hotels the maximum score), but if I had had to stay on the lower floor next to that aircon unit it would have only been two blobs!More
