We stayed at the University Place Hotel, and this was the bar/restaurant that was open the afternoon we checked in. We went in for a small lunch and a drink.
We order the Grid-Iron Wings (sweet and spicy BBQ) and Crispy Shrimp. The wings had good flavor, but were small. The shrimp was fair-it was WAY overbattered with a thick, spongy batter, despite that it was called "Crispy Shrimp" on the menu. The noodles that were served with the shrimp, however, were delicious. I enjoyed them far more than the shrimp itself.
The atmosphere is sports-bar like, with IUPUI sports themed wallpaper and large tvs. It was pretty dead, though, with two other people in there when we were there, which was around 2pm. The bartender was pleasant, and let us eat in peace and didn't hover, which was nice. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. It was good enough that we'd go back if we had another restaurant.com coupon.
