This property is just massive. Perhaps I'm used to just staying in smaller Starwood properties, but everything (lobby...pool...workout facilities...hallways...elevators) felt so crowded, chaotic and loud. One of the four elevators was non-operational, and there didn't appear to be a freight elevator, so the guest elevator wait was so long! In our first room, the appointments were as expected in the main portion of the room (so, standard Starwood of this grade) and it was clean and modern. The bathroom, however, was very outdated (i.e. old nasty looking tile in the shower) and didn't jive with the rest of the room. Unfortunately, we had to switch rooms, because our floor was party central until late into the evening (i.e. 12:00 AM) - slamming doors, loud music, doors slamming, people shrieking, kids running around, babies crying (yes, at midnight). Our request was accommodated promptly and pleasantly. Our second room was similar, except the bathroom was much more modern. The rest of the trip was without incident.

I am an Indy native and returned with my husband to attend a concert at the Klipsch Center. Accordingly, I'm very familiar with the area and have spent a lot of time at the Fashion Mall. The location of this hotel is so convenient, with the exception being perhaps for someone who is spending a lot of time downtown. It's nice to be able to pop round to the mall to browse. Shopping there is very upscale. Although we stuck to my local faves for dining, there are a lot of higher end chain restaurants for those so inclined. We did not eat or drink at the property restaurants/bars.

In sum, I would recommend this property for those who aren't bothered by chaos, crowds and noise; or business travelers during the week. If you're looking for a relaxing experience and plan to be at this hotel on the weekend, you may want to consider another hotel.

Room Tip: I would be sure to ask for a room away from the 2nd floor fitness center/pool - it was mass chaos th...

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend and were not too impressed. We booked through Priceline, which claimed this property to be a 4 star level. I intend to mention my displeasure with the 4 star bucketing. My initial impressions:

1. Dirty grout in the bathtub/shower
2. The malfunctioning TV remote (changed batteries and it still didn't work)
3. The inside of our bathroom door looked like it had been soaked in water for a long time and then hacked at with an ax.
4. The toilet seat was so loose it felt like it was going to fall off.
5. The construction of the elevators and other areas made getting around difficult and slow.

Now that I've been completely negative, I'll say this: The room was clean (outside of the items listed above), and the staff was approachable and courteous. My issue is that for other higher end properties in the area, the level of quality was definitely not there in comparison to the price paid for other equivalent properties (with or without priceline).

Would stay again after renovation.

This hotel is next to the soon-to-be-completed Fashion Mall. I had a King room at a rate from AAA that I considered excellent ( less than $100.00 ). I think this was built in the early '80s, but it appears in good condition. The brunch buffet is very good and reasonably priced. The shower was excellent ( one of my pet peeves ) and the bed comfortable with good linens ( the other ). The air conditioning was quiet, but not particularly effective, as the room felt stuffy and humid to me....though I am used to high mountain air and low humidity. Given the surrounding amenities, I would pick this place again.

We spend one night here while passing through. It is located close to I465. Parking is free, beds are comfortable, and there are other restaurants nearby if you want to eat outside of the hotel.

The room was clean and nicely decorated meeting rooms were very large and well catered that was the good. The bad was wi-fi had to be paid for not complimentary, there was no happy hour or appetizers like other area properties. Traffic and construction made it very difficult to get in and out of. Social areas seemed somewhat limited and overall small.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the parking garage as it will be quieter than the street or mall facing sides.

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night on business. Stayed in a traditional corner king room. The room was very small, with no room for a chair or table. The room was very quiet but it was at the end of the hall! The bed was very comfortable except for when the alarm clock was unexpectantly going off!!! Maybe maid service could check the alarms and make sure they are off. I still think the room was a little pricey for the size room with all the extra fees!
