“Good food, good value, local flavor.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2014

We were pleased to find a non-chain pub near the convention center to enjoy lunch and some of the local flavor of Indy. Loughmiller's (Lock-Millers) fit the bill. Burger was big, fresh and well prepared. Plenty of draft beers from which to choose. Service was somewhat sparse, but not neglecting. Worth a visit if you want an alternative to factory food.

“Convenient Location for Lunch in Cultural District”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2014

The best thing about this restaurant is that it is one of the only non-chain restaurants in this area of Indianapolis (which has a lot of hotels due to the Convention Center right there). It was close enough to walk from the Eiteljorg, so it was a perfect spot for a quick lunch on my last visit there. The weekend menu is a much abridged version, and so the choices were fairly limited. But, even so, there are plenty of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. I had the breaded chicken sandwich, and it was not too greasy. I also had a side of fries, which were served "fresh" but were frozen-style. The waitstaff was good enough - she was attentive and nice. There was a nice selection of local beers that my husband sampled, too. I will likely return any time I come to this part of town.

“Good food - no atmosphere”

Went for a pork tenderloin sandwich - had not had one in 30 years. Sandwich was good. My husband and I loved the onion rings.

“Fairly good value downtown”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2014

Some decent tap options, which can be a little tricky in Indianapolis. Food was well prepared (Soup and Sandwhich) and my entire meal including beer was less than 15 dollars. Fairly quick service, friendly. Would recommend. Wouldn't mind seeing another craft tap or two though.

“A Neighborhood Place for the Traveler”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2014 via mobile

In the midst of towering Hotels and Government buildings, this place has all the charm you would find in any local neighborhood gathering place. Good Beer selection, and Friendly Staff.
