“Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

The Uno deep dish Pizza is very good. We went there because we wanted Fat Tire beer but according to our dingbat server they haven't had that for as long as she's been there (2 months). Our grandbabies did the make your own pizza which was great but they advertise an apron for the kids so they don't wear the sauce. It's on both the menu and website. According to our dingbat server they haven't had that for as long as she's been there. (2 months). Our server did many things to earn her dingbat title, but the bottom line the food was good when we all finally got served.

“Probably won't return”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Our server was very good and kept the refills coming. We ordered mozzerella sticks which were supposed to be cheaper before 7:00pm, however we found out that is only in the lounge. The sticks were okay, but were 7 dollars. Then we ordered a sausage pizza with extra marinara sauce. The server said "do you want the classic". We said we guessed so. Well, they brought out a pan pizza with cheese, sausage, and a can of tomatoes poured on top. Yucky. So if you want real pizza sauce, go with the build your own and don't be talked into one of their specialty pizzas. She knew we didn't care for it, but she did nothing about it. We scraped the tomatoes off and made the best of it. The bill for 1 medium pan pizza, 2 diet cokes, and 1 order of cheese sticks came to around 39 dollars.

“Decent for what it is”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

I've always seen Pizzeria Uno as a bit of an underrated pizza chain, especially by the standards of mass-market enterprises, and found this location in the south side of Indianapolis to be no exception. The gluten-free pizza (yeah, yeah -- before you jump on me, I've been eating gluten-free per my doctor's orders and living a wonderful life since before it was a South Beach-style fad) is superb, as are the nachos. The service isn't anything to write home about, but the food more than makes up for it if you're traveling a long distance and looking for a generically Middle American restaurant to fill up at.

“Nice Deep Dish Crust”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

We had their Spinoccoli Deep Dish in the whole grain crust. Pizza was hot and crust not soggy. Broccoli was a little too crunchy - might have benefited from being blanched before being added to pizza. Other than that, excellent pizza & loved the whole grain crust!

“Deep dish take out great, but inside dining not a great experience...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2012

If you are staying in the south indy area and you want to order pizza, this is definately the place to order. Deep dish was out of this world. We liked it so much, we decided to eat at the restaurant the next day... much more disapointed that we would have thought. My salad tasted "old" and "limp". Our group of about 20 had reactions from "OK to Bad" It was unanimous that we would not return there, unless we did takeout deep dish pizza.
