“Simply scrumptious!!”
Reviewed September 9, 2013 via mobile

Shrimp cocktail is all that it's lauded to be - amazing! Also enjoyed the crab mac-n-cheese (huge portion appetizer that could easily be a meal) and the mini bone-in filet chops that (after the shrimp cocktail and half of the mac-n-cheese) were a perfectly sized meal. The boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the bone-in cowboy ribeye too. Wr sat at the bar and staff was friendly and helpful even while being crazy busy on a Colts opening wknd Sat night. All in all, a fabulous meal - pricey - but amazing and no more pricey than many of the best steakhouses in much bigger cities.

“Excellent food but glad I didn't have to pay!!!”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

I was able to eat here during a recent convention and luckily did not have to pay the bill because I know it was enormous. The interior is huge (it seems very small and quaint from the outside) with a seemingly maze like interior of stairs and hallways. We went on a Saturday night during a busy convention weekend and the place was packed. Even with a reservation and a private room booked we had to wait a bit to get to our seats...and there's not a lot of room for waiting either: be ready to stand while you wait (unless you get there early enough to squeeze into one of their packed bars)!

The food itself was well worth the wait however. We started off with their famous shrimp cocktails which came with their much lauded "cocktail sauce" which consisted basically of a potent homemade horse radish that is prepared daily in house. It was excellent to say the least. The steaks finally arrived and they also were top notch and excellent, and cooked perfectly.

The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a great place for high end dates, business lunches, or parties. I would definitely eat there again (if invited!!)

“Great food, service, and atmosphere!”
Reviewed September 5, 2013 via mobile

The food is fantastic! The best steak I've ever had. I had the filet cooked medium rare. The shrimp cocktail is a lot to take on for the first time, but wonderful! The sides were alright. Not bad at all, but nothing spectacular.

The service was awesome. The guy was very knowledgable and professional. He timed everything perfectly, so as courses came out one right after the other. The creme brûlée was delicious.

The drinks were superb. Seriously. We went to the 1930s lounge upstairs for a dink after. Drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was to die for!

Not something you can have every weekend! Not should you! It's for special events! Amazing!

“Swim Championships”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Incredible!!!!!! One of the best steak dinners that I ever had! The shrimp cocktail is indescribable. When they say fresh horseradish they mean it. I don't want to say incredible again but the shrimp cocktail is incredible! Highly recommend that you eat here at least one night while you are in town!

“Incredible Food”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Went with a group of colleagues (about 12 of us). Service was awesome, food was incredible. I had to try the fiery shrimp cocktail since I had seen it on Best Thing I Ever Ate. I was not disappointed. The shrimp were large and well-prepared. The cocktail sauce is outstanding. It is definitely "fiery", but if you like horseradish, it's cocktail sauce on steroids! Had a New York Strip as my entrée, and it was very tender and prepared exactly as I ordered it. One of the best steakhouses I've eaten at.
