Owner description: Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre has been serving up food, fun and fabulous live entertainment for everyone since 1973. Located in College Park, the theatre was part of a chain of dinner theatres built by Louisville contractor J. Scott Talbott. It was called "Beef" because of the delicious hand carved roast beef served before the performances, and "Boards" referring to the boards or stage of a theatre. Today, the Indianapolis location is privately owned and the sole remaining Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, entertaining more than 150,000 theatergoers annually. Each season includes professional Broadway shows, plays and acclaimed children's theatre productions by our resident Pyramid Players. But a visit to Beef & Boards is more than just great theatre! We offer a tasty dinner buffet prepared by our in-house executive chef, plus a full-service bar and mouthwatering gourmet desserts. Be sure to stop by the Intermission gift shop for unique gift ideas, and ask about seeing more shows for less through our VIP membership program. Come see why each year more and more people discover the value and quality of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre! Beef & Boards is a member of Actors' Equity Association, the only union for professional actors in legitimate theatre.

We attended B & B approx 10 years ago and was pleased with everything. However, I just purchased 14 tickets and we attended Sat. July 14th. I was very embarrassed when my Sister found hair in several places under the glass beside her dinner plate. She reported this to manager on duty and ask they be very discrete when they approached table. Well...not only did they go to wrong table but....made it clear to everyone at the table why they were there.
I (the person that bought tickets) had no idea about the hairs until staff brought it to my attention.
They never did clear table of all the dirty dishes & I was very much displeased.
The only thing good about the place...was the show. It was amazingly well put together. Rebecca

Great shows, buffet is pretty good. Tables are small and cramped. Tables for 2 are half as wide as tables for 4. Narrow. Overall a fun night.

Been to a lot events at Beef & Boards and it is always an enjoyable evening. Viewing wise it is a great place, well set up (unless you are in the front corners). Food is typical buffet, good but not outstanding for the price. But that said it is a great place to go for an occasional night on the town for dinner and entertainment conveniently located in the same place.

The food is typical dinner theatre. Do not expect anything beyond what you can get at your local buffet restaurant. The production itself was just average. I've seen more talented community theatre productions and less talented productions. The set designer made good use of the limited stage space. Costumes and choreography were not strong at all. This was part of a group outing and I would not choose it as a stop again in the future. Our waiter was hysterical! Best part of the evening.
