“Great find”
Reviewed July 10, 2013 via mobile

Walking around Fountain Square and looked up this place. Great service and super food. Had salads and pretzel sticks. Very yummy. Salads were made with fresh berries. Ginger beer was also delicious. A must try for lunch if in the area.

“End of the Line was just the beginning of the line for great food”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

We met some friends here that had been referred there by a Fountain Square resident. The lighting was adequate without being bright. The noise was minimal with comfortable chairs and unique bar with plenty of local brewery beers on tap. The house favorite - named after the chef ' The Big Jessie was calling my name along with the memphis slaw. It was wonderful -the brisket was tender with a smoky flavor and enough jalapenos to add flavor but not cause too much heat. Others got the mac n cheese - which I have had since and it is a unique dish in itself and cooked in it's own small container. My wife had the red roasted potatoes and loved them - after a taste I had to agree they were very tasty and flavorful. A friend had the Beer and Bison burger and was very happy with it as he consumed every bit of it. The service was excellent - we asked to speak to the chef and he came out and was very engaging - describing how they created their dishes and such. I went back for lunch 3 days later and will be going back in late May once the rooftop dining area opens for the season.

“Still Great”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

Shelbi Street Cafe had been my favorite restaurant in Indy. I was so glad some of my menu favorites made it to the new iteration. Really good quality food at a reasonable price. Great location in a beautiful historic building.

“Great Vegitarian dishes and everything else”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

This place covers all the bases. Vegitarian and a just about everything else. The food is well prepared and made with skill and talent. Give it a shot after duck pin bowling at Fountain Square.

“Unique & Interesting - Great food”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Friends had tried the End of the Line Public House a couple of weeks earlier and loved it.

I was not very familiar with the Fountain Square area but after having dinner here I will be coming back. Large beer selection and a varied and small menu that offers an excellent value and and excellent food.

After studying the menu for a few minutes I realized that even though the menu is small, there were so many things that I wanted to try I just simply picked the first thing on the menu which was the Big Jesse.

The Big Jesse is a beef brisket sandwich with jalapeno's, carrots, onions on toasted Italian bread and my side was the mac & cheese. Besides getting an ample amount of food both were excellent. My girlfriend had the meat loaf sandwich and that was also excellent.

Service was very good, the restaurant was clean and old pictures of what the Fountain Square area looked like decades prior are hanging on the walls. Turns out the "End of the Line" took it's name because the trolley cars would get to this point on the square and turn around and go back the other way.

Great name, great restaurant. I'll be back!
