Always a favorite for outdoor concerts. The canal is looking gorgeous compared to the last time I saw it a few years ago.

We had a wonderful time walking and taking in all the sights. This park was one of my favorite spots in Indianapolis.

White River State Park is a gem in the heart of downtown Indy. It is beautiful and well-planned. There are so many things to see and do here: the zoo, museums, The Lawn and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail to name a few.

When visiting for a work trip, I decided to walk down for some respite from the city life. This was close to my hotel (JW Marriott) and the downtown area, but it felt like I was back home in a very flat version of the Tennessee Mountains. Feel free to rent petal boats, canoes, and bikes if you desire.
This seems to be a popular running spot in the early mornings and afternoons.

Attended a concert in July at what is called the lawn. This is an outdoor facility. This concert was of one of the more desired group of musicians. There were tickets purchased with row and seat numbers. They put out very low to the ground lawn chairs and tie them together.

Very small facility so no bad seats. Most concerts do not have seating set up. Again this is completely outside. Dress for the weather.
