First on all when I reserved my two rooms, they were supposed to be 2 rooms, each with 1 king size bed. When we arrived at the hotel I gave the clerk my print off from Expedia, and I was never asked one question. When we went up to our rooms, they each had 2 double beds. My husband went down to the clerk and wanted to know why we didn't receive the rooms that we reserved. He was told that this was an upgrade since they don't have the rooms we reserved available anymore. To some people this may be an upgrade, but when you have a queen size bed at home, with your baby sleeping with you, and then your expected to sleep with 3 people in a double bed, this is ridiculous. The clerk refused to do anything about it, and insisted this is an upgrade. The bathtub was also a completely different size, and shape from what we reserved.
The rooms also had some sort of short in the air conditioning unit or something. Everytime the air conditioner came on, some of the lights would go off in the room.
When we checked in, they swiped our room keys through a machine. The second day, we were all locked out of our rooms in the afternoon. We all had to go back down to the desk and have our keys swiped again. The third day I was locked out of my room that morning after going to the fitness room to exercise. I again had to go back down to the clerk's desk and have my key swiped. This is absolutely ridiculous.
The fitness room was a joke. There were only 3 exercise machines. The bicycle seat adjustment knob was broken, so this couldn't be adjusted. It was absolutely too hot in the room, and the air conditioner buttons were all removed.
There was a continental breakfast, but if the Board of Health had come in at this time they would have been closed down on the spot. There was coffee, raisin bran, and bagels. The room was an absolute mess, food was thrown all over the place.
When we went down to check out of our rooms, the manager never even asked us how our stay was. I wonder why????
