“One of Indy's best restaurants!!”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

If you havn't eaten here, you must! The food is fabulous. We started with crab cake appetizer that was so tender and entirely fresh crab meat. It was wonderful. The wedge salad, with pork belly chunks of bacon was as good as you can have anywhere and the pork belly appetizer with tiny sweet potato and onion chunks was incredible. The New York strip steak was one of the best I have ever had. Absolutely no gristle whatsoever. It really was like eating filet mignon. My wife had the seared tuna which was a very fresh piece and very large serving that she said was really great. For dessert, you must have the warm sticky toffee pudding with caramel. Such an incredible dessert that the visit to this restaurant is worth that just for that dessert. A well kept secret for Indy!!

“Great example of local farm to table”
Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

When I travel, I always seek out locally owned restaurants serving local product, and I am grateful to your neighbor who recommended this fantastic restaurant. I am lucky enough to visit some great restaurant cities, and Late Harvest is as good as many fine establishments in New York or Chicago. Just the Brussels sprouts salad was worth the trip! I have been very impressed with what a great city Indianapolis is (this is my first visit), and Late Harvest is the kind of place that helps make it so. What can be more civic-minded than supporting local growers and supporting the purveyors that feature them? Plus, it's healthy, and oh yeah, delicious. Indianapolis, this is a great place, and I can't wait to come back, both to the city and to Late Harvest. Thank you for a very special meal.

“A great place to dine”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

Had dinner here on Weds night. Had been here when it first opened a year ago and it has only improved. While waiting for friends in the bar we had a great time with the bartender who had interesting stories and gave some good dining suggestions. When the four of us sat down for dinner our waiter knew his job well. Had no problem describing everything that went in to the dishes on the menu (menu changes DAILY), was very attentive without being intrusive. The price is a bit above average for Indy but for that special dining experience it is hard to beat. Place is very crowded normally but Weds evening seems to be a good night to go as it was full but not packed.

“best restaurant in Indy”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Former chef @ Oceanaire now owns his own on the north side of indy. The best is eating outside on a nice evening under the trellis. Fine food, lovely service & outside under the trellis reminds me of the pitti palace in Florence.
