Unsatisfied customer

When I came in the front desk to check in the front lobby spelled of smoke someone has been smoking cigarettes the first room they gave me the air-conditioning didn't work the rooms need to be upgraded new comforters and Better mattresses

Gross

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I was in room 29. The curtains had holes in them. The beds were sagging. The TV was screwed into the TV stand. The sink wouldn't drain, and the stopper had no way to open or close it. The toilet doesn't have a lid on it, and the towels are stored above the toilet. (yes, a washcloth ended up in the toilet). When I turned on the shower, the shower head was pointed out of the shower, soaking myself and the toilet paper. My parents were in room 30, and their room was even worse. The carpet in their room was completely soaked and the bathtub was disgusting. I was hoping breakfast would have made up for the room, but the sausage gravy wasn't any good, and there wasn't even any fruit or yogurt. Very disappointed.

horribly messy

Beds were broken fixtures in the room were broken room was completely messy stains all over the hallways

Absolutely wonderful

This is the greatest super 8 overall. Rooms clean, front desk very nice, customer service is over the top. Breakfast wonderful. Have stayed there 4 different occasions and will never stay anywhere else when comin to NOLA. We leave our car when we go on a cruise, comeback and everything is good. And there is no charge to do so.

What You Would Expect

Super 8 Indianapolis South is very standard when it comes to a cheap hotel. The room was clean with standard offerings of coffee (but with a missing coffee pot), toiletries, and an ironing board. The pool was inaccessible at the time because it did not comply with ADA standards, so I guess they had it shut down indefinitely. Vending machines were standard. Staff was pretty neutral, helpful when needed. There was a mysterious $40 charge in our bill a week later. Their late checkout option was helpful up to an extent. Pet policy was fantastic!
