Was hesitant to stay here as the rate was so low and worried it wouldn't be very clean or kept up. Was pleasantly surprised. Room seemed recently updated but small; think "Europen efficiency" type of rooms. Staying here was good, but you definitely get what you pay for. The king bed only had three small pillows, no coffeemaker in room, no breakfast, towels not crisply folded like you would find at more expensive hotel chains. But for our purpose it was just fine. There was free WiFi which was an unexpected perk and there was free coffee and tea in the lobby.

Thank you for your recent stay with us that the Indianapolis North College Park Red Roof Inn. We know that we are not an upscale hotel but we do have some amenities for our guests including the Wi-Fi and coffee in the lobby. We do offer coffee makers, micro fridges, 4 fluffy pillows, more walking room and large work areas in our superior king rooms. We hope that you give this room a try the next time you are traveling in our area.

I recently stayed at this Inn for 6 days, Aug. 28 - Sept. 3, while attending the U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway. I attend this event every year, and I stayed at this Inn last year and was very impressed. Well, I am still very impressed. My room was spotlessly clean, everything in it worked as it should, and the staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. This Inn is right off of I-465 Exit 27, and there are a great many restaurants and shopping malls nearby. Bacause my days are spent at the race track, I don't care about a pool or fitness center, which this motel doesn't have. I just need a good, clean room with a comfortable bed to sleep in; if that is what you are looking for, you will love this Red Roof Inn.

Room Tip: I always book a Superior King Room because they have a refrigerator and microwave. Also the room is...

I had a single, non-smoking room. The rooms seemed to have newer furniture compared to other budget motels. They were small though, but that's typical for the Red Roof Inn. I found the bed to be comfortable enough, and it was certainly clean. I will say that the folks working the desk were very friendly, particularly the guy who was there when I checked in. That kind of good service is really helpful when you tired from a long drive.

It's definitely just a stop-along-the-way kind of place. But make sure you get a room facing the parking lot if you can. Even there, you could hear a little bit of interstate noise, but the air conditioner easily covers it up. However, if you're facing the interstate the road noise is MUCH more noticeable and could cause problems for folks who are light sleepers.

Room Tip: Do not get a room facing the interstate. It's very loud.

I chose to stay at this property because of the reviews and TA rating, as well as good previous experiences with Red Roof Inns. There was nothing particularly disappointing, but it was only typical, in fact, a bit below the quality of other Red Roof Inns I have stayed at. No fitness center, nor pool, nor breakfast.

Luckily, I was on the north side of the motel, the side opposite of the interstate. Could have been worse on the other side.

Would stay there again, but only if the price was right. Made reservations for a return trip to Indy in October, and will be staying elsewhere - at a national chain, for less, with a kitchenette, exercise room, and pool.

Room Tip: One side faces the interstate, so request the other side (the side that faces the animal hospital...

We have stayed at this Inn several years in a row. This year we had a standard NS King Room and it was just an embarrassment for the establishment. The carpet made our feet so filthy we put towels down to walk on the 4 days we stayed there. This was a non-smoking room and the window drape had a cigarette burn and was terribly old and frayed. The bedspread was the first thing we noticed and it had half dollar sized burn holes and other burn holes all over it. The carpet had not been vacuumed well, either. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping did a good job at making the room each day (the 2nd day the carpet was vacuumed much better). Service is always great but it was disappointing to have such a crummy looking room because we have always had a good experience here. The appearance of the room was one you would expect to find in a "Pay by the hour" place and not a reputable Red Roof. I will not stay here again unless they rehab this Inn like they have done with many other Red Roofs.

Room Tip: The Deluxe rooms with refrigerator may be better quality than Standard Rooms.

We stayed at this property because it was convenient. Lots to do in the area and 20 mins from downtown. They put us in a room facing the freeway and we figured that may be a bit noisy. Room was clean and there's a large area with a desk and light if you are traveling for business. After we decided to sleep, there was obviously parties going on because we heard people talking and car alarms going off. Not the hotels fault but left for a restless night. When the storms rolled through, it was very loud and you could see that the seal on the door was missing or just not held well. If we did stay again, i would request away from the freeway. Staff was friendly. Safe area.

Stayed here several times for the NASCAR Brickyard 400 race in August and always been satisfied. But this time, what a shock to get a cigarette smoke smelling room when the whole complex is supposed to be smoke free. That's never happened before and we're concerned about coming back. Our clothes reeked, our suitcases reeked, etc.

The desk staff could not have been more helpful in trying to alleviate the stench by spraying whatever all over the room. But we elected to not move or try another room because we were with friends staying close on the same level. That was our election, and perhaps, not the best one.

Our hope is that is a gross mistake on their part and we would not like to search for another convenient place to stray because it couldn't be easier to get to the track from this inn.

We're waiting to see and hope that they address the problem.
