A group of us stayed here recently. No hot water for two days. Mentioned this on check out and the reply was, "oh, that still isn't fixed."

Wi-Fi worked one day and even that day was slower than a dial up.

Walking in early evening, we saw two young ladies that from their attire were "working girls" to meet the many drivers that stay in the hotel.

The continental breakfast was average...the only thing healthy was cereal and boiled eggs. Oh, orange juice and 2% milk. No fruit.

One night around midnight, a group decided to tailgate in parking lot. We woke up and though room was on fire because it smelled like smoke.

Housekeeping did a nice job cleaning room each day and rest of interior was fair. As I read on another review, carpets do need to be cleaned...our socks were filthy just from walking in our own room.

No bed bug bites or other issues...so that is a plus.

Make sure to get an "odd" numbered room so it faces the Waffle House. Otherwise you face the interstate which is VERY close to the hotel and you'll hear the traffic zooming by all night long.

As in life, the details matter...as such, other than the very low rate we got to stay here, the negatives add up to a poor experience and we wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: Request an odd numbered room that faces Waffle House and not the interstate

On Monday April 8th, we chose this hotel over several in Plainfield, a location closer to our destination because this Quality Inn was more reasonalbly priced than the Plainfield hotels.
This is a typical Quality Inn: good, but not exceptional. The carpets, especially in the public areas are in need of cleaning; the hot tub was not useable due to maintanance, the pool water did not look very clear and there was no yogurt available at breakfast. It was apparent that the hotel was undergoing an employee transition. The positves: very friendly staff and good bed and bedding. Other than the carpeting, the rooms, breakfast room and public areas appeared clean and well kept. If we need to stay in the area, we would choose this hotel again since we assume that the negatives did not seem to be chronic conditions.

Room Tip: Make sure to request a room away from the traffic noise. When we checked in, on a Sunday, the traff...

I am currently staying at this property as I write this review. I usually dont take the time to do ths but in this case I am. The staff is very nice and friendly. It was a quick checkin and the young lady (Amanda) was very accomidating to our needs. My room is remodeled and housekeeping did a wonderful job. I am very pleased with my stay.

We had a suite for one night, didn't spend much time in the room at all but was disapointed that when we got back late we found that the pull out couch had no blankets or sheets! Why have a room with a third bed if you can't even use it?
Called front desk and asked for blankets to be brought up and they said no, you will have to come get them! Went down and were handed one blanket, no sheets and when asked for a pillow they said - no we are all out!
Will not stay here again.

We stayed here about a year ago and it was not a good stay. However, we were willing to let the manager make good on his efforts to correct the problems. This stay was much better. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, especially the front desk clerk. Our room was very clean and furnished as good as any. The pool and hot tub area were well maintained and clean. The price was very reasonable for a busy night. The only drawback was this is a "park and fly" motel. The parking lot was full of unattended cars, especially in front, belonging to one night tenants who were flying. This left very little room for others to park. I would suggest they designate this type of parking to an area off from the main entrance.
Other than that, the manager and staff has made very good and positive improvements. We will upgrade our previous review to say "yes, we would stay here again".
Thank you to the staff.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the interstate noise.

For the price...I get it. And I can't recommend it.

Smoking rooms surround non-smoking rooms. Don't stay on the 4th floor.

Check in was very late. It wasn't easy to find. Service had to be dug up from the *serious* multi-tasking they had to do. They were friendly, but you could tell they had 19 things to do besides just check you in...a couple of times until the smoke smell -- and the bug spray fumes were not prevalent.

Lobby is okay. Once you leave the lobby, the hotel need some serious updating.

Paint was peeling, carpets worn and frayed.

Room was clean. Bed was clean, on the hard side, pillows were okay. Hair dryer okay.

Standard issue Quality/Comfort shampoo/conditioner/soap. Towels were clean, standard white thin ones.

Breakfast was hot. Bill was not under my door (that would have been 20 things for the guy to do).

It was cheap. It was close to the airport when the flight got in very late. Maybe if actually getting in had been easier, and the rooms weren't so smoky...and fully of bug spray.

No, not even then. Sorry, can't recommend.

Room Tip: Stay off the 4th floor if you're not a smoker.

In Forty one years of traveling, I have learned to try and stay with major chain hotels when in rural areas to insure at least cleanliness. NOT SO anymore. this place was simply the WORST and dirtiest hotel i have stayed in since I was a kid renting rooms by the hour. every aspect of this place is bad. from the ill kept front desk staff to the roach burns on the bedspread no kidding....to the crayon drawings on the walls!!! The fact that in BOTH rooms we rented they only made one bed a day was actually funny! This is my candidate for the ALL TIME worst corporate owned hotel EVER!
A DUMP!

Room Tip: Take one look at the desk staff with dirty hair and wrinkled clothes and RUN
