My family checked in on friday for a cheer competition and when we arrived to the room the bellboy was already there and said that the glass lampshade was broken when he got there. The glass was pushed up in a corner. He said he would send some one up to clean it up. 3 hours later no one had come to the room and my daughter forgot it was there and cut her ankle. I mentioned then i felt my room should be comped but was told “I don’t think I can do that.” By Sunday her foot was visibly bruised and causing her pain. I told them again at checkout i felt the room should be comped and was told yes by one manager but the general manager then said it would have to go through insurance and i would have to pay for the room now and we would work it out later. So in short their negligence caused injury to my daughter and I had to pay for it. Also the shade was never replaced. Shame on you Marriott!
PS. A response to my review on another site was met with apologies and a request to speak with me but my calls and emails go unanswered.More
