“Heart Attack”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

Ok, I didn't get a heart attack, but the burgers at this place rival In and Out on the west coast (which I think is seriously their competition). Get a burger, fries, and coke, and you'll definitely feel full after your done, more like a brick in your stomach, but it's amazingly good! For any west coasters who are In and Out fans, you MUST try Five Guys. Welcome to the East Coast / Midwest burger joint!

“Well above average.”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

I have eaten at this restaurant. Others around the state too. Experience applies to all.
The golden arches grew up around me. I'm part of the baby boom burger generation.
Most all employees are pleasantly gregarious. Enthusiastic and happy. I like that.
Order at cash register, pick-up when number is called. Maybe five minutes is busy.
Burgers are simply outstanding, Minimum three napkin jobs. Not at all sloppy or fall apart, just a mouthful. Available toppings run the whole gamut (and then some) and are included in the price.
Then there's the fries....... Full size, washed, cut, and seasoned on site. Cooked in cholesterol free peanut oil. A regular order equals 2 1/2 anywhere else orders, so if you bring a friend, only buy one between you. Malt vinegar on site for serious 'chips' eating Scotsmen. Catsup for the rest of us.
All will arrive hot off the grill. All prepared to go in a bag. Plenty of seating inside (and out at some locations). Free peanuts in the shell.
A little pricier than fast food, but a great value anyway.
Other menu items include dogs, veggie sandwich, and grilled cheese. But why?
First visit is an experience - do it. You'll be back. $7 - $11 pp.

“Finally ... a real burger joint!”
Reviewed May 16, 2012

We stopped here because we'd read about it and I was not disappointed! Great burgers and the best fries in town! Perfect burger to bun ratio. We will be back!

“Still a "fast food" place, but not healthy!”
Reviewed April 22, 2012

Not your everyday fast food, good, but not healthy. Why is it that restaurants still have to serve fatty foods and unhealthy portion sizes... I don't get it.
