There are not very many choices for a convenient place. The drinks were stiff and the appetizers left much to be desired.

Ate here while on business. Typical sports bar food that was ok, nothing spectacular. There is no way this place should be #12 of the best places to eat in Indianapolis. Fries were over cooked.
Waiter was attentive and pleasent. Typical city center prices for sports bar food.

High Velocity offers a sports-bar atmosphere, paired with burgers, sliders, and other quick-dining hotel fare. If you’re familiar with the High Velocity concept, then this one delivers. It is consistently packed by locals and guests alike, taking in one of the many games being broadcast (each at full volume) throughout the restaurant. The food is what you would expect, but the service is slow. If you want a quick meal and/or peace and quiet (or even to hear what’s happening on the TV that interests you), you’d probably be better off to do in-room dining or to try one of the other restaurants in the area. If you're not in a hurry and don't mind the noise, this place is fine.

Stopped here after a night in Indy for dinner; had reservations on a Saturday night but didn't need them, plenty of open tables. On first floor of the JW Marriott near Victory Field and Lucas Oil Stadium: great location. Food here is above average and the staff well trained and focused. Mostly sandwiches, salads, finger food, burgers, great beer selection, fine choice of wine and a full bar.
Also have sections of restaurant that are a bit out of the way and more quiet. You can get noisy...or not. Open from 11 am until 1 am continuously; suspect opening early on game days of import.
Highly recommended if you are interested in using a sports bar for a good meal and drink.

Visited here several times over a week @ a conference In Indy. First was a non game day on a Sunday afternoon. Very chill day downtown, came in sat @ a table for about 10” & still no one had even acknowledged that I was there. I left & walked down the street for lunch. Later that night I sat @ the bar & Eric got me an amazing porter & the Nachos which is a must have. A huge plate, liquid white queso & melted shredded cheese too. So good I got another order several day later. A different day I had fish tacos & the fish was great but overall the taco was a bit dry. The sweet potato fries were great. Lots of tvs & nice seating areas.
