My wife and I made reservations at Mesh for July 15th for a nice date night for the two of us. We arrived and were seated promptly by a very courteous hostess (who also called a cab for us at the end of dinner, thank you so much!!).
We order the bruschetta and the watermelon with Italian ham appetizers and they were both amazing. I was somewhat unsure of the pressed watermelon and ham until I tried it and was amazed at the flavor and how they complimented each other. The lobster bisque I ordered was creamy and flavorful and the chunks of lobster were actually noticeable. I would highly recommend any of these items to anyone. My wife tried the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection and was one of the best, if not the best, lamb dish I have ever tasted. I did not try the root vegetables that were served with it but my wife raved about how well they were done. My scallops were amazing, I appreciate the fact that they were done but not rubbery which happens all too frequently with Scallops. The risotto was a beautiful compliment to the scallops and the black truffle emulsion added a nice earthiness to the dish.
Service was impeccable. Our server Bryan was attentive and helpful without ever seeming pushy. He obviously knew and understood the menu and was constantly mindful of the fact that my wife had a shellfish allergy. His knowledge and recommendations were greatly appreciated by my wife and I who had never ate at Mesh, but cannot wait until our next trip!!
