Description: This place was great! Right near the Monon trail in Indianapolis. Dogs are allowed to sit outside on the patio while you eat! They brought water for our dogs (with ice in it) in a dog bowl with our drink order. Extremely friendly wait staff, great art inside, wonderful food! Breakfast was delicious my girlfriend had crem brulee french toast...wow amazing! I had a salad that was to die for! I hope you are able to add this great find in Indy/Broad Ripple!

“Eclectic menu”
Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Decided to try Zest Sat brunch on the way home from a night downtown. The service was a little slow for being only half full. They had a very interesting drink menu and an awesome jasmine mimosa. The food was good and a good variety of omelets. We would definitely go back and would try for lunch and dinner too.

“Great neighborhood place”
Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Nice eclectic place and alternative to Broad Ripple. Creative menu coupled with a low key place adorned with paintings by locals. Fab breakfast/brunch. Try it....you wont be sorry

“Food can't make up for lousy service”
Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

I have been going to zest for a couple of years. I put up with the bad service because the food, especially the French toast was so good. However, after a weekend brunch experience with a 1.5 hour wait and larger tables being consistently seated in front of us, I have given up on zest. There are too many good brunch places within a 1 mile radius to put up with the bad service

“Our first clue...”
Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

...should have been that there was no other people eating there. Four of us, adults, went for dinner on a nice summer evening. The food was horrible. I can't even remember what we had as it was about 9 months ago, however all four of us being foodies did agree on one thing...it was terrible and we will never return. After the fact we heard that lunch is the best they have...still don't think I will try it. Too many other good places to eat.

“A favorite Indianapolis restaurant”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

We've enjoyed Zest a number of times for dinner and have always has a great time. We have not had lunch or breakfast so can't speak to those options, but always find our dinner experiences to be very special. The menu is modern up-scale comfort food. The 5-hour Braised Short Rib is my absolute favorite and like the other entrees we have enjoyed, is plentiful enough to have some to take home for leftovers. The service has always been excellent and we love the warm, unpretentious atmosphere.
