“Grand tour!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2011

We toured Lucas Oil Stadium on a Saturday in early July and got the best tip from the ticket-seller - pick the early tour! The stadium is not air-conditioned when there is not a game, so it gets pretty hot in the afternoon going through the different levels. The early morning tour was the one we picked and it was comfortable, but if you go in the summer, wear shorts and short sleeves. Lots to see - you get to walk on the field, see the field from the suits and see the visitors locker room, and the press box . Cost was minimal and tour was worth it.

“Great staff and fantastic stadium!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2011

Recently visited for a Colts vs Steelers game. I was very impressed with how well mannered the staff was. From the ticket takers to the pro shop employees everyone was great. When we asked about our seat locations they didn't do the usual offhanded wave and look away move the usher actually took us to our seats. Considering the stadium was packed the concession lines were fast and efficient and the prices were within a decent price range(a diet coke was $3 instead of the normal $6). They did a very nice job of routing everyone through the escalators in a timely manner. Also very clean restrooms!

“Beautiful stadium, behind-the-scenes tour.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2011

We took the tour of Lucas Oil Stadium on a weekday afternoon. We parked right outside the stadium in the "one hour parking" spaces and our car was perfectly fine. The tour was $7 per person, which seemed definitely reasonable for a 1-1 1/2 hour long tour of an NFL stadium.
During the tour, we visited the plaza area, visiting locker room, medical room, x-ray room, coach office, and showers, the press box, Quarterback Suites, conference room area, and the corner of the field. We also walked past the executive suites, media rooms, and play rooms.
The tour guide knew a few facts, but nothing too eye-opening. Her info was pretty basic, but the draw of the tour for us was seeing the stadium, not learning anything particularly new.
I'd recommend this tour.

“Wow - I wish we had this in our home town!”

I'm not sure when this stadium was built (five years ago?) but it is fabulous. Clean, well-equipped and really beautiful. The view is good from all of the seats, and the seats we sat in (not super-premium) were actually padded and had cup holders! I could have watched an entire football game, in overtime, and still been comfortable. Tons of food - and about a bajillion stalls in the ladies room, a priority for me. I love this place!

“Great great venue!”

Went here for the Drum Corps international World Championships events recently and wow what a stadium!
Such an impressive size facility as you approach from any angle and dominates the skyline as you approach fropm the airport.
Uniquely situated just a few blocks walk from the middle of downtown Indy which alos makes it incredibly useful for those staying like us in nearby downtown with all its bars and restaurants.

inside the main arena areathe saeting is all padded and comforatbel and the environment nicely air conditioned so whether hot or cold outside it remains constant inside.

Concession stands were only downside and very very slow service for food or drink

Retractable rrof is a nice feature for fall or spring useage I would guess but certainly not in the middle of summer or winter. North end huige window overlooking downtown also slides right back which they use to air the stadium it seems as we saw this being opened each day
