We stayed here for a business celibration and visit to holiday gala. Wonderful facility with fantastic furniture and staff. Great food for party. Valet parking and luggage help. Very quaint bar and sitting areas. Prices very reasonable. Fantastic downtown location.

Room # 610 - Granted it was booked late but for $163 a night I did not think the light fixure should be hanging out of the lamp by the wire. Needless to say it did not work. The desk was jammed up against the chest of drawers so the chair would not turn. The water in the shower was possessed and would freeze you or scald you before you could get away from it. Bathroom from 1974. No internet all Thursday night and Friday morning - they stated that they contract that out and it would come back on when it does and the company does not inform them...Sorry - Neither Mario or the Billing person bothered to call me back to confirm my phone charger or billing arrangement.
If you forget something.. just go buy it because they have nothing on hand. The room was small as you expect from a 1800s hotel. The lobby was beautiful and it is very historic...but don't go there expecting to be productive.

Room Tip: Don't take room 610

Classy hotel, harkens back to another age. The integrity of years gone by has remained but the hotel is up to date. The rooms are not as big as other places but they are nice and clean. Great location downtown.

Love to go the Columbia Club.. it is a beautifully maintained, old world downtown club...
We take our family holiday picture in the lobby in front of a huge fireplace.. it makes a great photo...

We have dinner in the restaurant.. food is very good, service is very good... we had a party of 9 ages from 2 years to 65 years.....it was a great evening...

They have a kids menu, and all entrees come with salad, and two sides....food and drinks are reasonably priced.. and drinks are very strong !

Next time you are downtown, stop in and take a few photos....
They offer free valet parking if you eat dinner in the dinning room.
