“Great Place for a Family Stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

Went for a long weekend with kids and grandkids. Both rooms were large and clean. The staff was always courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great, something for everyone. Dinner was perfect for kids, nothing fancy just what they'd ask for anywhere you took them. Cocktails were good and had choices for everyone. Kids loved the free pop and popcorn. Unfortunately, due to a customer getting sick in the pool, they had to close it for an evening. In the morning they opened the pool and allowed us a late checkout, so the grandkids would have a chance to swim. When the parents wanted to go out the front desk had helpful suggestions, as well as a list of restaurants and a map of how to get to them. Also had a list of pizza places that deliver. Need extra towels, coffe, etc...always available. Great free coffee available all day on main floor. The only minor suggestion I could make would be to have cream, not powdered packets, available with the coffee all day, not just at breakfast. With all of the people and families there, the rooms were amazingly quiet. Many people were there with pets, which I thought was great. This is a great family orientated hotel that makes multi-generational travel easy. Something for everyone, satisfying rooms for the older ones, something to do for the mid's, and not to pretenious and stuffy for the kids. Definately would stay again.

The hotel is a good value for a short stay. The room is comfortable, clean, and spacious. They have a good, but not great breakfast. The room we had was a linear 2 room suite. It had a microwave and a mini fridge which froze everything. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The nightly happy hour food was pretty bland, but you got 3 free drinks per night which seemed pretty popular. Hotel staff was pretty nice except the breakfast staff who were in a bad mood most mornings. One lady put out the hot food one morning and the other lady took it back because it wasn't 7 am yet.

This is the second time I've spent time in this hotel, and not being an expert, I'm very impressed! The building is very clean and is maintained perfectly by housekeeping, awesome job! The entire staff goes out of their way to smile and greet you everyday! If your visiting Indy, this is the place to stay! Keep up the great work!

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. The check-in staff were very courteous, helpful, and friendly. Everything is always so clean. I guess I am probably pickiest about my bed/bedding, and the Drury has yet to disappoint me. Thier bedding is so soft and cozy. The mattress was oh so comfortable and plush. My husband and I both had a good night's rest which doesn't always happen away from home. They had a great breakfast in the morning and also salad and hot items from 5:30 to 7:00. We had salad, bake potatoes, and chili before leaving for a soccer game that night and did not need to go out to eat after the game which saved us money. If you have not tried the Drury, you should. I have already made reservation at another Drury for another out of town soccer game later this month. The pool is a little on the small side now that my boys are getting bigger, but it was well stocked with clean towels and the exercise room had weights and more equipment than I have seen at other big name hotels.

This is an excellent place to stay because they offer quality room at a reasonable rate. They are clean and their service is outstanding. Their location is just off I 70 with easy access. The offer a good breakfast and happy hour beverages and snacks.

We stay at a Drury Inn every chance we get, both on the road and in our home state of Michigan. Every stay has been great with very friendly staffs and great accommodations and amenities. We stayed at this Drury on the way down and back from a trip to French Lick IN. A great place to stay.

We stayed here for the first time at the end of last year and again during our wedding. We were originally attracted to this facility as they allow pets at no charge. They also had excellent online reviews. We were impressed by the level of customer service we received and we were offered an additional night for half price. We decided to take them up on the offer. They also have a light dinner and cocktail hour each evening. The dinner isn't of the healthiest variety but it's free, so we'll take it. They also give you three free alcoholic beverages each evening. We don't drink but thought this was a great value. They had a full hot breakfast, as well. Briefly after our arrival, we received a knock on our door. It was children selling candy to help "homeless children". We didn't buy it and went about our business. A few minutes later another knock, the same thing. I called the front desk to let them know about this. It didn't happen again. Other than the soliciting, we were happy with our stay. We decided to use them for our stay during our wedding, as well as, for our guests to stay at. We set up an account with them so guests could book their room under our name. Some of guests were paying for their rooms, we payed for the wedding party's accommodations. They had a lot of confusion over this, especially once we checked in. I received a call from the front desk during my rehearsal dinner asking if we were paying for photographer's room. I told them we were and told them to use our credit card. This was a little annoying because of the timing and the fact we had given them our credit card during check and explained the situation again at that time. They were very apologetic and fixed it. With the exception of this issue, I was pleased with our stay. The hotel gets pretty crowded in the evening on the weekends, particularly downstairs. The elevators are slow during this time. This normally wouldn't be a problem, as I don't mind climbing stairs but nine stories in a wedding dress isn't easy.

To sum it up this hotel reminds me a bit of Embassy Suite hotels. The cocktail hour and light dinner, along with the full breakfast seemed very similar to Embassy Suites. The room we stayed at on our wedding night was more reminiscent of the large suites, as well. Although the huge with jacuzzi tub was an added bonus. They also allow pets for no charge.

I think if we stay at a Drury Inn again it'll be because pets are allowed for no charge.
