First of all, we were happy to park so close in the underground parking garage, and it was even better that they validated the parking ticket ay the museum entrance so we didn't have to pay.

We expected to see Remingtons and Russels, which we did, but there was so much more. We loved the huge Grand Canyon murals and finding a hidden treasure around every corner. We spent about 3 hours there, which included a visit to the cafe (food was good and generously portioned). We happened to catch the Jingle Rails exhibit and it was outstanding.

The galleries would be less interesting for younger children, but for anyone interested in the American West or history, there is a lot to see and explore.

We were attracted to the Eitejorg Museum by an advertisement we saw for their holiday train exhibit. What a wonderful surprise we got when we arrived. The museum is easily accessed by a underground parking garage. Once you go into the museum, it is clean, airy and the staff are friendly and professional. There is a great area that plays a wonderful tribute to western movies. The train exhibit was breathtaking! The art was so nice to look at with so many different exhibits that there is something for every person to enjoy. There is a really nice restaurant at the museum also. We will return!

Spent the afternoon here at the museum. This was our second visit. There are plenty of exhibits to see including a visiting exhibit on the history of western movie which was very interesting. We also enjoy visiting the museum this time of the year for the model train display. It's huge and never ceases to amaze us. We also enjoy the short film in the lobby on how this railroad is put together. We, or most of us, also enjoy the gift store. We usually find something that we can't live without.

A museum for everyone, rich with American West & Native American history. Periodic special exhibits are so informative and interesting! The gift shop has hand made pieces of art and jewelry and you can relax with a snack and glass of wine at the cafe in between exhibits.
