“Sky City Cafe is top notch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012

there is no separate listing for the cafe inside this museum, but the food there is really great. they serve various kinds of native american food---think of it as creative and upscale southwestern/mexican. great chili, buffalo burgers, sandwiches and salads. pleasant setting, just off the canal. they are only open for lunch, but we love to go there with the kids and sit out on the balcony.it's a good place to go when you are biking or boating on the canal and you don't have to pay the museum admission to eat at the cafe. the food here is like 10x better than the friday's at the marriott--cross the street and get some real cooking.

“Quite Good”

Perrhaps not as outstanding as the art museum, but worth a visit, expecially for those with an interest in western painting and/or native American materials. While I was there, there was also a special exhibit of National Geographic western photography that was worth seeing.

“More than a Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

This museum is does thing to involve the community. They go out of thier way to make people feel comfortable and enjoy the visit. A nice selection of Indian art is available for sale. Great displays to wonder through. The museum is about 20 years old but looks new!! Located downtown Indianapolis, near the zoo, Indiana's own baseball field (Victory Field), Lucas Oil Stadium, and lots of shopping!! A great place to visit and learn about indian culture.

Excellent exhibit on National Geographic photos on the west. One of the best exhibits on Native American and Western culture outside of Phoenix, AZ
