This was not just a dinner, this was an event! We had a group of ten people, and we all agreed that it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The salad bar was the perfect start to the meal, but you have to pace yourself to save room for the perfectly prepared meat courses. I can't wait until my next trip to Indy so I can visit Fogo De Chao again.

“Couldn't be better.”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Our first time at Fogo De Chao lived up to our expectations. The buffet was fresh, plentiful and of the highest quality. The meats and hot sides were superb. The service was impeccable. We happened to mention that we were celebrating my son's birthday, but were not ordering dessert , since we had cake at home. They promptly brought out a huge slice of wonderful chocolate cake with a candle anyway. We enjoyed that attention to detail, which exemplified the whole experience here.

“Go Hungry”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

My husband and I went to this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. I thought it would be a nice treat since my husband loves meat (to truly appreciate this restaurant, you must be a meat eater!). The first course is a buffet that has over 60 items on it. Once you have finished that you flip a disc over to tell the servers you are ready, and ready you better be! You are first presented with your sides, mashed potatoes (I believe they were garlic), cheese pastry, fried plantains, and fried polenta with shredded parmesan; then the meat, so much meat…lamb, pork, chicken, sirloin. All of the meat was seasoned to perfection and in small portions for you to try a little of each. The trick is remembering to flip your disc over to stop the serves from coming over. Most importantly pace yourself. It is easy to get full quickly. I would recommend having an even balance between the salad bar and the main course.

The service was great and our plates were never empty. One issue we had was knowing who we were tipping. You don’t have just one server, the was the person who took our drink order, the servers who brought us the meat (at least 10 different people), the people who pick up our empty dishes (two that I could count), as you can see quite a few people to tip.
The experience was great and I would definitely go again. I read from another trip advisor review to go during lunch and I agree you get the same menu as the dinner menu, but at less of the price.
