The museum is top notch and free. The grounds are beautiful. When went to summer nites the outdoor movies venue on Friday evenings. It was totally cool.

Overall nice place to visit. A big building with nice grounds but lacked content. We visited for the Star Wars exhibit. Price was a little too high for what was there. No vending was available unless you wanted to pay the high price at the IMAX or café. Bring your own food or venture downtown.

Very nice building with a decent collection of art, a nice bookstore and cafe. I was there for a specific exhibition, which was excellent.

definitely go here - its worth the time and is small enough that you can see it all, but not so small you aren't impressed with what they have to look at.

The IMA has a respectable collection of art; how be it somewhat limited. There seemed to be an interest in having pieces across many areas without specializing in any particular artist, style, or period. That is OK, but limits the exhibits. The facility is fine with opportunities to add new pieces. The outside gardens were great, particularly with the flowers and various gardens. The connection with the Lilly house is also a great way to combine art with another culture visit. The price is free, which is OK, but we wondered if additional art could be added if an admission fee was charged. It should be a stop on everybody list when in Indy.
