We enjoyed the museum very much. Easy to get around and helpful staff. Free admission, but be aware that they do charge $5 for parking.

“Nice museum with perks!”
Reviewed June 13, 2012

Museum filled with beautiful art from various time periods and cultures. Very relaxing and well maintained. Also, a yummy restaurant with good prices and a nice menu (nice surprise!) Helpful staff, too. And free. My favorite part were the Lilly house and gardens. Museum, gardens, house are all free. Parking was $5. Can't wait to go back!

“Great selection of art, perfect price.”

Great paintings to see for free! And the Tim Hawkinson sculpture on the 4th floor is breath-taking.

“A great art museum right in Indy”
Reviewed June 10, 2012

The Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA) has grown significantly over the past two decades. New construction, the addition of an outdoor sculpture park and nature park, a horticulture program, a historic home, collections that specialize in everything from African art to American art. And it's all free, except for special exhibits. Still has a good gift shop and lots of dedicated volunteers.

Interesting and beautiful destination. The gardens are very enjoyable to wander around, especially if you enjoy seeing a wide variety of flowers.
