This church is off monument circle. We have a Christ Church in Houston so being an Episcopalian I was interested. The church was founded in 1837 while the Houston church was 1839. So a close link to a place I know well. While the stained glass windows may or may not be Tiffany , these windows are stunning. Plus in the evening after work if you have time .... From September through May the Cathedral offers Choral Evensong sung by the Choir of Men and Boys every Thursday. A great place to visit , you might even get a little spiritual refresh !

The church is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the out. If you're on the circle and the doors are open, step inside. You'll be glad you did.

Visiting various churches and cathedrals is an interesting past-time. This one was beautiful and in good condition. My daughter really enjoyed the visit.

In town and walking the Circle. Decided to try a church service. Not our religion, but we were welcomed and participated. Beautiful Gothic church in very middle of Downtown.

This is a beautifully restored and maintained cathedral which is definitely a city treasure. It is located directly across the street from the famous Soldiers and Sailors Monument so it is easily seen and accessible. Everyone visiting Indianapolis ought to plan to pay a short visit. We happened to be in town for the church's annual fund raiser called the "Strawberry Days Festival". They were serving large portions of fresh strawberry shortcake and ice cream for a nominal fee, which was delicious! I was so impressed with all of the nice people and the dedication the congregants show to their church and their spiritual legacy. They welcomed us to go inside to see their beautiful church. We loved spending some peaceful moments there. Be sure to walk up to the Choir loft, take a closer look at the stained glass. Don't miss looking up to see the beautiful organ pipes!
