“Museum was good, but lap around track even better”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

I enjoyed the museum, but thought it would have been larger with more interacting exhibits. I was able to sit in a racecar. It was interesting viewing the different cars and the improvements in car technology. We took a bus tour which they took us for a lap aound the track. Very impressive sight coming around the last turn heading for the finishline (bricks) with the grandstands and pagoda. Highly recommend the bus tour.

“The Brickyard”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

For over sixty years I have read abouit the Brickyard and I am building a 1956 Indy Roadster recreation so had to visit the track and see the museum and watch a race. The noise of the NASCAR cars was deafening BUT what a sight! Only one more place on my Bucket List.

The Speedway is a must see in Indy, especially at race season.
The race season draws many people from all over the United States and worldwide, along with the food & beverage vendors to keep everyone happy. You are definitely entertained the whole day. Bring your sunscreen and water. The Museum is full of classic memorabilia for anyone and for any age.

“Impressive !”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Museum has a good mix of stuff and surprising to see how many UK drivers have raced there; even some motorcycles.
NASCAR race preparations underway when we visited so couldn't do the track lap, but again interesting to look at them getting ready.
