My friends and I went and enjoyed every ounce of this museum. From the basement to the top floor, we had a ball! Talking to a real life paleontologist and real life archeologist, while looking real bones was educational and different. The Egyptian exhibit and the other parts of the National Geographic exhibit were simply breath-taking. I loved the fact that the planetarium was included in the price of admission. Our favorite parts were the ENTIRE Avatar exhibition and standing next to Bumble Bee the Transformer. Very well designed and well thought out. This is worth going to visit without the kids.

We make an annual trip here and the kids enjoy spending the day seeing all of the new sights and visitng favorites. This years archaeology exhibit and Avatar were a big hit. The kids really loved seeing the dinosaurs outside with the football helmets and coach's whistle.

There are lots of hands-on exhibits for all ages. I enjoy visiting even as an adult. There are exhibits that are constant as well as changing, so there is usually something new to see each time. The size of the museum makes it difficult to see it all in one day, so a trip back is still exciting. They also have seasonal events. My grandchildren have season passes, so if you live in the area, that is definitely the way to go. You will get your money's worth.

Colorful, hands-on, exploring, this Museum is out of this world. Excellent for children as well as adults. There are fantastic special exhibits, areas for everyone, and ample parking. It isn't far from downtown or places to eat. Although a bit pricey everyone will remember the day for years.
