We spent a whole day here while on vacations ages 4-63 and we all enjoyed this place. Our little girls loved the mirror maze and the plane ride,my husband and I loved the transformer at the entrance and the elevator ride to the archaeology level, lower level. We all really enjoyed the planetarium shows we went to all but the Elmo one.

He would have stayed there ALL DAY if we would have had time. He loved the play store. It's a great place to take kids on a rainy day.

We visited on a rainy Saturday last Labor day weekend, so the place was packed. We got there around 11:00 and stayed until they closed. The outside of the museum looks really cool with the dinosaur, then once you get inside you get the see the dinosaur head. A very large Bumblebee, the transformer, was in the lobby last year. A fun way to start out the visit to the museum. Of course this museum has some of the same things that other museums have such as the water table where you can divert water in different areas, construction area, rock climbing wall, area for kids 5 and under with different activities. The Egypt exhibit is really cool, to get into the area you travel there on an "airplane", once you land in Egypt, then you go through the rest of the exhibit. The power of children exhibit is a great idea, but is geared more towards older children. There is an area for traveling exhibits, when we were there it was hot wheels, we all enjoyed it. There seemed to be room to expand which is a good thing. The one thing that I thought was missing from this museum would be more water stuff. Some of the museums have tubes/pipes that you can route the water coming out of the floor through. Another addition could be a music room with different instruments. We ate lunch while we were there, it was like a food court, so you have options. The museum shop was very good, you could spend a lot of time in there. I bought a couple of things in there and kept them for Christmas presents. All in all, it was a good visit, but there is some things that would make the museum over the top. Our then almost 5 year old loved it and would definitely want to go there again. It isn't downtown, but isn't to far away and there is a huge parking garage with covered walkway to the entrance. Wear some comfortable shoes and take your time!

Seems like there is less to do every time we come.and more rude people.kids will cut in front of your kid and the parents just sit there.not worth the price to park and the admission.you can find better things to for the money you pay for 3 hours of rude and not so interresting exhibits.

Loved the Barbie showcase. There was enough stuff to see in 3 hours. The food court was also nice to have a quick bite.
