“Great place to see a show in NWI”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

The Venue is definitely an awesome place to see a live show! I have seen several concerts there and the sound was amazing in a such a big space. The seating was comfortable as well. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house.

“Great concert facility, but must pass thru the smoke”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

I was blessed enough to win tickets to a concert of some of my favorite artists from the 70s. My wife and I went and enjoyed the concert. The performance facility was very nice. There is no bad seat in the entire venue (The Venue). The one very bad thing i sthat it is located within the casino and you must pass through the smoke to get there and back through the smoke to leave. If you're not a smoker, passing through the smoke-filled casino is a great inconvenience. If there is another way to access the concert venue, it is highly recommended. There were no clear signs indicating that there were other parking arrangements or alternative entrances.

“Wonderful concert hall”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

We saw the Brian Setzer band at the Venue at the Horseshoe Casino and really enjoyed it. I normally hate large concert halls, but the sight lines were great and the sound was amazing. It was very easy in and out. I would recommend that you be sure to park on the venue side, because we parked on the casino side and had a long walk, first through the parking area and then through the smoky casino.

“Could have been better”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

I'm sure the experience for events that are seated is better. I went to a general admission show where they had an area roped off for the wait which started off as an orderly line until they allowed people to just camp out in front of the doors which caused chaos. There's no smoking in this area which was nice as the moment you headed out to the casino there was a haze of smoke in the area. There are bathrooms close by and places to eat as well. If you have ever experienced a normal general admission line that is typically outside you will know this is a plus. The concert was great which made up for the poorly handled line. I think they are used to seated events and if they had just kept people in the roped off area they set up it would have made for a much better and smoother entrance into the venue.

“Nice first time experience.”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

This was the first time we attended a concert there. It's a good size..not too big and not too small. Seats were comfortable and the temperature inside the place was perfect. I did not see one bad seat in the house. Although the stage was easily view-able, they had 2 huge screens on either side of the stage to see the artists closer. We will look for another concert to go see there for sure.
