We travelled here in July 2010 on a long weekend on our way to family in Canada so just a quick stop. But a nice enough stop to notice a fine little hotel off the beaten track that impressed me even though I was only there for about 10 hours.
Friendly staff, nice clean room, nice note from the owner in your room with a personal phone number if you have ANY issues at all. Quiet, despite the fullness of the hotel and Friday night atmosphere. The breakfast, which I thought was funny in its advertisements because of the focus on the Jimmy Dean Sausages was wonderful. I appreciate a good breakfast while travelling and it did not disappoint at all. Great way to start the day on the road.
It's a ways off the main highways but a great spot to unwind for a night on your way to whatever.More
