Be aware that unlike casinos in larger cities like Las Vegas and Atlantic City, this casino is small. I took a friend who loves to play poker and often does in these cities but could hardly find people to fill the table. Also the non smoking areas smelled like smoke.

Hi Beach47USA- Thank you for visiting and reviewing the French Lick Casino. We are disappointed to read that you only had a "so-so" experience and we will work to improve upon the conditions you mention. Since we are small, we work hard to maintain a pleasant guest experience, including a smoke-free environment if that's what you expect. We hope you will be able to be our guest so we can serve you again.

Lots of slots, poker, High Roller room, bar lounge and a deli if you get hungry. Found it hard to win on the slots, and even when I did win, the prizes were fairly small. But, we had fun anyway---we didn't expect we'd be able to quit our jobs when we left.

I've noticed some people complaining on here about the smoke, but there is a non-smoking area.....it seemed like the smoke-handlers worked pretty well.

Hi DianeP49- Thank you for making the trip from Florida to be our guest and providing the kind comments. We are glad you noticed our fine air quality. We take a lot of pride in providing the best air quality possible for our guests, whether that is on our main gaming floor or in our expansive non-smoking room. We hope you will give us the opportunity to serve you as a guest again soon.

Stopped by the casino to play slots. Disappointed it is still a smoking facility. Small non-smoking area, but you have to walk through the smoking area to get to it. ????

Ended up winning, but didn't stay long because of the smoke.

Hi LWW61- Thank you for reviewing our casino. When we built our non-smoking room we utilized unfinished shell space and unused gaming floor space so we would not disrupt too much of the guest experience in existing gaming space. We would have really created a disruption in the guest experience had we demolished and built-out gaming floor that was in use.

Went to see Dwight Yokam November for my birthday at the casino . Had rude people behind us . They talked very loud threw the whole show and tried to take pictures of my husband and I with out permission . I complained to security and was told it would be taken care of . And they did nothing worse experiences I have had . Spent over $1,000 dollars with tickets hotel stay dinner etc . Hotel and food amazing but will never go back to see a performance . Very disappointed with staff at venue

Casino was built between 2 historic hotels and across from a parking garage. One level. Escalators. Able to walk from French Lick hotel to casino without going outdoors. Shopping arcade. Connected hotel has old world character. Lots of slots, poker, non-smoking room, High Roller room, bar lounge and on site deli with limited menu to cold sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pizza. Soft drinks and water are free and available. Casino had a very nice sit down restaurant inside that closed recently and hotel food options seem to be in transition. Slots are reputed to be tight but there are often promotions, tournaments and other events at the hotels to attract gamblers, families and couples. Nice getaway for gaming, a spa, and a touch of history in a secluded valley. Free shuttle vans to golf courses and Hagens restaurant at the golf course, West Baden hotel. Local fast food, deli, bar, breakfast and pizza dining options within driving or walking distance to quaint town.
