“fort Wayne Children's Zoo”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

I took 4 grandkids this summer and they loved it. It is an awesome zoo. It is very clean. There is enough space that you don't feel like you are in a herd of elephants. The only thing that I don't like is that the food and drinks are expensive. The rides are not badly priced. You can spend 2hrs or 5 hrs. depending on your time frame. I would allow at least 2 hrs. We will be going back again next year. They do have a Halloween trick or treat walk and that is fun also. Kids all dressup and walk to station and they are given treats. Enjoy.

“Great family trip!”
Reviewed October 7, 2013 via mobile

First time in Fort Wayne and we mainly stopped because of the zoo, it was well worth it as it is a very clean zoo, the animals were very active and seemed happy. We loved all the peacocks that roamed freely throughout the zoo. It's exhibits really let you up close to the animals!! Will plan a trip here again!

“Great family outing.”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

The admission fee and ride pass are very reasonably priced. I took my grandkids and we all had a great time. Ths zoo is clean and well maintained. Many of the animals are camera hams and enjoy posing. We spent 4 hours there and the kids were asleep for the drive home. The only drawback was the food and beverages. $2.50 for a fountain soda, really!! Not much for menu choices either, just the usual hot dog, burgers, and fries. Rest rooms were clean and the staff was very knowlegeable and friendly. Definately a great place to visit if your ever in northeast Indianna.

“Plan Ahead”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

The exhibits at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo are outstanding and are worthy of 5 stars. The problem I experienced with young children was inadequate bathroom facilities. The bathroom in the Australian Adventure has 2 stalls which resulted in very long in the women's bathroom. What I learned later was that bathroom facilities were much better in the African Journey. Had I known, I would have taken the children there. So think ahead. Also, if you plan to do the zoo rides, buy the reduced ticket on the way into the zoo. That's the only place you can buy it. Otherwise, you will be putting a lot of dollars into the token machines throughout the park.
