Tons of memoribillia for the avid James Dean fan. He grew up just down the street and people here actually remember him. At least some of the older ones do!

“The James Dean Gallery”
Reviewed December 16, 2011

As we strolled up the sidewalk towards the door of the James Dean Gallery, we were excitedly greeted by curator David Loehr’s friendly young pooch Cleo. Her boss, a quiet New Englander and graphic design graduate also came forward to say hello and welcome us to the Dean Gallery and what is the largest private collection of Dean memorabilia in the world.

Stopped by for a quick visit on way home from Mi to TX. Definitely wasn't quick! The gallery is full of memorabila and the owner is full of information and fun to talk to. As we were leaving, a porsche club pulled up (about 20 cars) and piled into the gallery. One of the cars was painted like James Dean's and people were out getting their pictures taken with it! Followed the free map and saw many cool attractions within the town (oh, so quaint!) and then out to the farm where he grew up and then to the gravesite. Only 5 miles off the highway. Very interesting!!!
