In this town there are several Italian restaurants and if youre visiting here I'd choose the local places Raffi!s or Angelo's are both very nice. As for Biaggi's it is loud and not very good. Did I say it was loud? Atmosphere means a lot to me even if the food and service are decent. And Raffi's or Angelo's have better food and great atmosphere!

We are fans of Olive Garden. However, if you want personal service and warm surroundings, Biaggi's is the place. Warm soft bread to dunk in the olive oil and parm cheese. A nice paced Lunch or Dinner. Good wine list and desserts. About the same price as Olive Garden.

This is the very best restaurant in Evansville. After reading some of the reviews I am puzzled at what the individuals ordered. We have been coming here for the past 10 years and have never had a bad meal. I always order the Fettuccini with lobster. My husband varies his order with their delicious pizza, chicken parmesan or the fettuccini. The bread is hot and delicious. Everything is served hot and fresh. James was our wait staff and he was very knowledgeable, polite and attentive to our needs. The manager visited with us and we had an opportunity to ask about the osso bucco on the menu. He described the dish and stated it is variable despite his excellent chef. He further explained the dish and my husband, who is a gourmet chef himself, agreed, that the dish varies every time it is made. However, we will try it the next time we are in town. The restaurant is extremely clean with nice white tablecloths. The only negative I can say is that we asked the hostess to seat us elsewhere in the restaurant because there was a large party with little children right next to us. We explained that we wear hearing aids and it becomes a real problem for us when a large crowd of hollering children are present. The hostess frowned and took us all about the restaurant to the other side of the celebrating family even though there were tables and booths empty everywhere in the restaurant. The restaurant just opened and there were only two other couples having lunch. She was visibly upset as evidenced by her non verbal looks. Why? We don't know! This is a person who doesn't need to act as a hostess with such an attitude. We overlooked the experience. This has never happened to us at Biaggi's. Go there and try the fettuccini or chicken parm. Delicious! At $15.49 and $15.99 it is full of good food. A real bargain!

From the warm bread, balsamic dip and Pinot Noir through the entree courses, pumpkin creme brûlée and coffee, this was a delicious dinner. Normally I would not order dessert, but the company was good, and we were relaxed after a long day of travel. Our waiter was attentive without being disruptive, and yes, the glasses were kept full. I hope we come back to Biaggis every time we come to Evansville.

While it may be better than average in Evansville, that really isn't saying very much given the predominance of fast food restaurants. The food lacks any real sophistication, the focus being on quantity over quality. The serving staff are competent and pleasant enough but little more. Unfortunately, this may be the best alternative given the options.
