Love the yakitori bento for lunch. Great size portions, fresh, tasty, and price is great. Sushi here is wonderful. New York, dynamite (the big one), and white tuna rolls are delicious!!!!

We go here with friends several times a year. We almost always do Hibachi, because that's our favorite. It's also interesting to talk to the others at the grill with you. We used to go to Nagasaki, but the patrons there never wanted to socialize with anyone else. I would think they would want to be seated at a table by themselves then, but that's their business. Anyway, I'm a pretty picky eater, but the way things are made on the grill, I'll eat things I normally don't. You can also be seated at a table. You can order from the Hibachi grill if you like when seated at the table, and you can order non-hibachi food from the menu if seated at the grill. We go with a friend who was stationed in Japan who gets non-hibachi food sometimes, and he says it's very good. The sushi is good, and it's fun to go over to the sushi bar and watch it being made. Everyone gives you a big hello when you get there and a big thank you when you leave. It's not the most spotless place, so if you are really picky, you might not want to go; otherwise, it would have gotten a 5. The prices are good for the amount of food you get. We've never been for lunch, but I've worked with people who say they have really good lunch specials.

My husband and I really like their sushi --- having been to Iwataya and Jaya's (we like both of these) --- presentation was good, and the others can't beat the price! Our 15yr old daughter really likes the hibachi grill....better than Nagasaki Inn (according to her). Fujiyama works well for us --- the adults can enjoy the sushi-side of the restaurant, and our daughter and her friends can have some space over on the hibachi-side! We've dined there 3 times and had "good" experiences. The first visit (with another couple) was less than stellar due to our table location --- on left side of sushi-side of restaurant (if standing at the front door) --- the waitstaff was plopped at an adjacent table....talking, totally customer's bills, etc --- didn't make for a nice evening for us. Waitstaff should "lounge" out of customer view. BUT we enjoyed the sushi, and so we dined there again in the winter. The big mistake this time was that the restaurant was freezing. We were joined by 2 other couples and our daughter (plus friends) --- we all ate with our coats on....I'm not kidding. But again, the food and the price were the selling points. Our 3rd visit went very well --- atmosphere was good, food was good --- all was well!
