The gardens and nursery are well kept and the staff were very knowledgeable about the plants and trees. Robert helped us find exactly what we were looking for and made purchasing our shrubs quick and easy. It is a great place to walk and browse, but I appreciate great customer service when we went with a purpose and a time limit.

This was my first visit. There were so many things that you wouldn’t see anywhere else. I truly enjoyed it.

Linton’s Botanical Garden is a great place to garner first-hand information on a wide-variety of landscapes which are sure to get your creative juices flowing. All of the plants are either native to Indiana or are compatible to its climate. In addition, there is a small cafe where you can quiet your growling stomach. This attraction can be well viewed in one to 1 1/2 hours.

Linton’s has Everything a landscaper could want. Plus a lot of home decor items. Plan on paying a pretty penny on your purchases, the place is pretty pricey.

What a spectacular place - - roaming throughout the grounds and wandering throughout the building, one almost feels that they are embarking on an "adventure", rather than visiting a nursery. Absolutely beyond compare.

It would be near impossible to add to the many glowing and positive visitor reviews that others have posted about their experiences at Linton's Gardens. The outstanding selection of unusual and interesting merchandise available is a pleasure to peruse. The gift shop certainly has many different and exciting gift ideas - - we had no problem locating gift items that were treasured by the recipients that received them back home.

The lunch counter was superb - - the sandwich selections were large and had lovely garnishes. The beverage selection was very complete, especially the sodas which offered a number of brands and flavours not normally found.

The train ride was another unique feature - - with the continuous commentary both informative and humorous. It would appeal to riders of all ages. HOWEVER - adults might want to consider riding in the rear, open cars, as the closed cars have a very low ceiling and can be uncomfortable for taller riders.

Linton's is much more than a nursery, it is an experience - and a very pleasant experience to be sure.

If you're anywhere near the area, do drop in an see it for yourself. I'm sure you will agree it is a very special and interesting place that has appeal for all ages.
