We stayed at the campground in our popup camper over Memorial Day Weekend and it was great. The park is very child and dog friendly and one of the best values for the money around. Almost every campsite had a dog including us. Children were everywhere riding bikes and even playing baseball in the road. There is a great pool and too many trails to even mention. My dog and I walked a trail that had it's trail head in the campground and we only saw two other bike riders. The trails are great for hiking or biking. The park is so big that even over Memorial Weekend you feel like you are really in the wilderness. We will definitely be here again soon.
Tips: If you go and it's a busy weekend stay near the horse camping area. There was always a line in the standard camping area's restrooms but never a line in the horse area. The camping sites on the outer edge or deeper which is great since the pad for your camper doesn't have much area around it for extras. The pads are on a mound that seemed to slope for every site.
