Papa's isn't fancy in ambience or cuisine.

However, the $4.99 happy hour specials are a great value and the salmon was
quite delectable as well.

No pretense. Friendly, efficient service. You won't leave hungry.

The food is very good the value is very good. the staff is very good.

The place is not a gem but is a change of pace from major chains. The food is hot and tasteful. The staff is friendly and works hard. The price is comparable to the rest.

If you are sick of chain foods, try this place. It is worth a visit!

My husband and I were here for lunch at 11:30 on a weekday. There were some diners eating outside, but only two others inside. That quickly changed as the regular lunch crowd came in. We were seated and approached immediately by our server Duane, whom we told that this was our first time here. He went out of his way to tell us about the menu and enthusiastically said that all food here was wonderful. We asked about the soups and, without us asking, he brought us samples of the two soups of the day, Cheesy Tomato and Au Gratin Potato. They were both so good that we each ordered a bowl. I then ordered the Spinach Chef entree salad ($8.99) and my husband ordered the Reuben Sandwich ($7.99) which came on grilled marbled rye bread and included those yummy fries that have some kind of light seasoned batter on them. My salad was a bed of fresh baby spinach with rows of sliced hardboiled egg, bacon, tomatoes, red onions, shredded cheddar-jack, and peas. Dressing was hot poppyseed, on the side. Duane then said that "This is your lucky day! We have our Strawberries and Cream Layer Cake for dessert. People call in and ask when we will have this cake!" So of course we ordered a piece to share....and it was amazing. Obviously home made.
We loved this place. It is easy to get to (just off I-65), clean and inviting outside and inside, great service and food was wonderful. What's not to like?

Most strip mall restaurants have tables that are affected by diners entering and leaving. We sat in a table close to the door. It's just chilly tonight but if it had been cold it would have been unpleasant. The service was quick and efficient and friendly! However the food tastes as if it begins as the frozen variety rather then freshly prepared. Fish was bland and felt pretty sure it was not battered on premises- onion rings and French fries also probably frozen variety.
I guess I feel 9.00- 10.00$ too expensive for the quality:(
