What a gorgeous place for an incredible escape. Everything from the first step in until you leave is memorable. Breakfast foods are in the fridge, the shower is easily large enough for two, there is a grill available for cooking dinner, the hot tub is quite relaxing, etc. There is a beautiful fireplace available, too, but I was there in the summer when that wasn't a consideration.

This is a clean, luxurious and quiet cabin. I wouldn't say it was anything extraordinary, but I would go back again.

There is another cabin on the same road but you are secluded enough to feel private. Very open layout, beautiful stone fireplace and an air adjustable bed. Screened in back porch with several styles of lounge chairs. The bed in not in its own room but is kinda tucked besides a small wall.

The owners were very easy to work with and made me feel comfortable and special. A lot of small touches really made this cabin stand out. Everything was very well labeled ( how to operate remotes, hot tub, fireplace etc...) Pamphlets for local attractions, a bird watching book- there is a full birdfeeder in the back and we did see several birds.

There are several stocked items, popcorn, brownies, eggs and breakfast items. Everything you could think you would need is there. Fully equipped kitchen, pots, pans and the such, butter, all the coffee fixins, spices, bbq & steak sauce and even bug spray.
We did use the spray when we ventured to the creek. Across the pasture are two paths through the woods to sugar creek. (this was also left in a note). Its a quaint little walk but the creek is inaccessible.

The Jacuzzi was dreamy and roomy, and it filled the water from the jets instead of a faucet, which was nice and quiet. Had plenty of hot water. The tv swings so you can relax in the Jacuzzi and still watch a movie.

The table is pre set for a romantic dinner and there are candles everywhere. Furniture is quality and comfy.

For anyone looking for a romantic night to stay in and snuggle this is the place. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

My wife and I returned a year later to celebrate our 34th. We had a fairy tale visit a year earlier with wild turkeys, deer and eagles. This year the fairy tale continues with deer, rabbits and more eagles. We counted 10 eagles that flew in front of the cabin along Sugar Creek. Five at one time. There is something special about this location. We had a great dinner at near by Stookey's Restaurant, made a wonderful breakfast and relaxed in the peaceful cabin setting. They have done great job caring for this property. We will probably return for our 35th or go to Hawaii.

My wife and I spent the weekend here for our 40th anniversary. The peace and quiet was amazing as were the accomodations. The food was delicious and I could hardly get my wife out of the big jacuzzi tub! We sat in fron of the fireplace and watched movies, read, and napped for hours on end. We are so glad we found this out of the way sport and plan to spend many more weekends here in the future.

I took my husband there for his 50th Birthday. It was so peaceful and romantic. They think of everything from food to music. The property is beautiful. We walked to the creek and saw several deer, rabbits, and birds. It was one of the most relaxing weekends in a long time and very close to home. We will be back in spring or fall!

We have stayed here many times, as well as given several gift certificates. The cabins are modern and extremely clean! Everyone has told us how much they enjoyed their stay. Some have spent the day in Indianapolis and go to the cabins for the night. But we just pick up supper food and snacks and stay at the cabin. We have learned to plan for at least two nights, but usually end up staying at least an additional night because we just don't want to leave yet! both cabins are great and the walk to the river is so relaxing. There is enough breakfast food for a couple days of breakfast!
