“A totally unique experience”

Looking for a place to spend Sunday afternoon & found this online. Wasn't sure what it was about but luckily saw a comment about wearing our closed shoes, not sandals! This place was amazing! We started in the information center with a 15 min movie about the area. The exhibit was nice & informative. Then we went outside. WOW. Climbing on the rocks was great fun and the fossils.... Amazing. The kids loved it and we did too! So many unique things to see! My only sadness was the litter people left behind. Would definitely recommend going! Be sure to wear something good for climbing around on the rocks.

“Fun at the Falls”

This place is wonderful. The views are amazing. The nature center is educational, walking on the trail rocks in fun, especially in the warm sun. Nice way to spend the day outdoors.

Park is a very relaxing place to visit if you have small school age children. Go when the water level is lower so they can see the fossil bed.

A nice museum to explore fossils and ancient history of the area. A lot of outside area to explore if the weather cooperates. Nice view of a large river dam also. Close to other area attractions.

“Fossils, fossils, fossils”

If you have even a vague interest in fossils, visit this park. It is unique. The river bed is ancient and covered with Devonian fossils ... About 450 million years ago. The visitor center is excellent. Enjoy!
