Perfect pizza and you can get something healthy. The salad is also good, especially with their basil dressing.

We live near the Carmel location of Basbeaux. The outside dining is especially nice in the summer-great people watching as the Monon Rail Trail is adjacent to the patio. Basbeaux has a very good pizza menu with the basics and lots of exotic combos including several yummy veggie combos. They also serve salads (my favorite salad dressing is the house creamy basil) and sandwiches. A very pleasant local dining option.

There was two kitchen errors on our order, but the service remained great and they took care of our order. Obviously this was a fluke. Food was still great and I'd return. Located in a very pretty area.

Bazbeaux' provides a nice break from traditional pizza fare. The BBQ and the Mediterranean pizzas are fantastic choices. Sitting outside in the summer is a plus. Less than stellar service and high prices keep this from a five star review. Yes, we will go again.

We had dinner with two other coules (table of 6) at the Carmel location last night. We did have to wait for a table but expected as much on a Friday evening so we didn't mind having a beer or two. The bar in this restaurant is incredibly small and with only one bartender to handle the bar and server orders she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Once seated we ordered salads and pizza. The salads came relatively quickly and timing of the pizza was good as well. Food was excellent. We had the quattro formaggio and throuroghly enjoyed it.

Our only issue was service. Upon arrival we had to wait for a host to come take our name. By the time he returned there were 3 people waiting to put in their names. It appears that the only host was also doubling as a busser. IMO the place was understaffed and that's what created the wait. Our server....where to begin......my husband ordered a beer. 5-10 minutes later he returned to the table without the beer and said, "oh, you still need that beer!". He had obviously forgotten. When he returned with the beer my husband asked for a fresh glass (all beer is bottled or canned) and after about 10 minutes my husband got up, went to the bar, and retrieved his own glass. Later, after our salads, he returned to ask if we needed anything and we did not. At this time our salad plates were all empty and our server had nothing in his hands yet did not clear the plates. When our pizza arrived they had to simultaneously clear plates while delivering the pizza. When our checks were brought to the table we had all boxed up our pizzas and the pizza trays were empty yet he walked away empty handed leaving the empty pizza pans. We also had to ask for water SEVERAL times. Our table joked that being 4/20 perhaps he had indulged prior to work as he was so forgetful. We tipped 15% for the first time in a looooong time as we usually are 20%+ tippers.

We would return for the pizza because it was that good but this restaurant really needs to work on their service aspect to get excellent ratings.
