Buried in the middle of a strip mall, albeit a very NICE strip mall, being Carmel and all, sits a tiny jewel of a restaurant. While there is a sushi chef and the theme is definitely Asian, the menu is quite eclectic and inventive. Lunch includes an array of appetizers, Bahn Mi, and Bento Boxes, all priced for frequent sampling, and dinners featured small plates, which has to appeal so much more than the old meat, starch, and veg. The interior is slickly elegant with a prominent bar. Can't wait to see where this goes.
