Went there for a lunch date about a week ago and enjoyed a generous and delicious curried chicken salad on a croissant with a tiny portion of BBQ and regular chips. Why so small? Another date today. Tiny amount of chicken salad. One tiny portion of BBQ chips, one tiny portion of regular chips. Apparently the portion control freaks have taken over. For $7.50, a niggling smear of chicken salad and a few chips seems a bit light. $4 for a beer, too. What happened? Will not go back. One more eatery succumbs to the short-term bottom line. Sad.

It is so nice to have a Starbuck's alternative. Soho is really good, the place is really cozy and the coffee is awesome. Visit local and try them out. I would hate to lose a gem like this place. It's right off the Monon and will be a delightful place to visit after my stop at the Farmers Market on Saturdays this spring and summer.

I stop in often. Love to walk the MONON and drop in for a cup of coffee to enjoy outside. Fun and interesting programs. Good "snacks" and light fare.

Carmel used to be an arabica desert but recently has gained a few good options. When I'm there on a Saturday morning I head to SOHO cafe on Rangeline. It's in a nondescript strip mall south of the Art and Design District. Its attraction? SOHO turns out about the best coffee in Carmel, and they stock the best pastries, too. There aren't many places in Carmel where you can get a great cappucino, almond croissants, and muffins. Check it out.

Featured in the Indianapolis Star, I decided to check this place out. While cafes and coffeehouses can be run of the mill, this place has an adjacent art gallery which features breathtaking work from area artists. A lovely outdoor seating area and easy access to The Monon Trail makes it better. The food is tasty with a slightly eccentric edge of many tasty offerings. This place can be easy to miss, as it is a part of a recessed strip mall off of Rangeline Road. However, parking is easy once this place is found. The wonders of Carmel, Indiana are at your fingertips from this place, with notable points (as the splendid Palladium) just blocks away. The staff is small and orders may take a few minutes, but it's all worth it. They care about what they do, serve, and provide.
