As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum I've spent thousands of nights in hotels around the country and overseas and stayed at most of the hotels in Indianapolis. This Renaissance stands out in a good way from all the others... and I'm very critical of the way hotels are run because of the amount of time I spend in them.
It's always easy and relaxing to stay here because they are quietly efficient. It starts at the top with the GM, Paul, who I see around the hotel checking on things. That's unusual because at most hotels where I stay, I never see the GM, they're too busy to get involved. That involvement reflects throughout the staff who all do a great job.
In the Club Lounge, Niki in the morning and Kaylee in the evening always do an excellent job. They are both very personable, attentive and proactive without being overbearing and annoying like some concierges at other hotels. Not an easy job.
It's easy to recommend this hotel.

Great overall experience. We were late to check in and night manager was very accommodating including offering to assist us with our bags and giving us bottled water. Rooms were very clean and the beds are by far some of the most comfortable I have stayed in. We always make it a point to stay here when in Indy due to close proximity to everything including only 15 miles from downtown.

This hotel was great. We were came to Indianapolis for a Cheerleaders Convention. We spend 4 days and 3 nights here.

The hotel's employees were great!
The rooms were great, the beds were very comfortable, the TV's were nice.

Its winter, and they got alot of snow. But the staff there, keep the grounds safe, sidewalks were prepared with salt, and the parking lots were done by snow plows.

The only downfall is its a good 30 minutes from downtown.

There aren't many restaraunts within walking distance of the hotel. However the hotel restaurant is very nice, and the staff is great too.

This is a clean, classy place with accommodations for all. Very friendly and professional staff that really care about making your experience a great one. I am here weekly and they never stop trying to make my experience better by paying close attention to what is important to me! There are many reasons why I choose to stay here but the great people that work here is the #1 reason.

I travel out to Carmel on business fairly regularly and I always try to stay at the Renaissance. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, especially the concierges Nikki and Caylee. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the internet is fast and the showers are hot.

I've had several excellent meals at the Grille 39 restaurant and I've even taken work people here for lunch. The front desk staff and hotel management are likewise very friendly and competent. In all my trips here, I have not had a bad experience.

Also, during a recent very heavy snowstorm, the staff stayed at the hotel around the clock without going home to make sure the guests were taken care of. That kind of dedication really shows how much they care.

Stayed at the Renaissance Hotel, Carmel, IN, recently and were well taken care of. Laine at the front desk was very accommodating and made my wife and I feel right at home. We were advised of nearby restaurants and bars which were right on target for what we were looking for. The hotel is very clean and has a gourmet restaurant on premises, which is outstanding in both food quality and level of service. I will be staying here on all future stays in Indianapolis.

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

I spent just one night here and was very pleased with everything. The room was quiet and clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked like it should. What stood out was the wonderful breakfast: an excellent buffet that included some healthy options, such as several kinds of cut, tasty fruit, as well as eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereal, etc. Pleasant service, good coffee... I was very impressed and would definitely return if in the area.
