A wonderful welcome at the start of our Tassie adventure. Friendly welcome, the port and chocolates is a nice touch, and breakfast is superb.

Spent 2 nights here in early January. Was particularly attracted by other reviews of the breakfasts & they definitely did not disappoint -fantastic. We had the spa room which was really nicely renovated and amazingly clean, beautiful views up the Tamar Valley too. Main guest lounge a bit "B&Bish" for my taste but all so tranquil & beautifully presented. Port & chocolates each night was a lovely touch. Hosts are friendly but not too in your face, we will be back.

This place is everything these reviews say and more. I booked it after hearing so many positive things. My wife and I stayed for one night in the self contained cottage which was spacious and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. What a delight! This was our first night in our Tassie trip and certainly got our holiday off to a relaxing start!

You can't beat waking up to a fully cooked breakfast that includes things like scrambled eggs infused with saffron or mediterranean style which has potato, olives, sun dried tomato, rosemary and feta cheese on toast. There is also fruit salad and freshly squeezed juice as well. The only small downside is that the queen bed plus extra king single bed is a tiny bit awkard. While the king bed single bed room has a door, the queen bedroom doesnt have one which may be a bit awkard if you're not comfortable with your friend seeing you sleep with your partner. Would be good if the king single bed room had a TV too. Other than that we throughly enjoyed our stay and the B&B has awesome views of the Tamar River.

A rtuly wonderful night's stay in a beautiful room overlooking the Tamar river . This is a great place to stay and includes a fantastic breakfast - try the saffron infused scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. One of the few palces we stayed that had free internet connection not to mention lovely toiletries and two very friendly and helpful hosts. Don't miss this one when you stay on Launceston!

Absolutely wonderful - we totally now know why they are #1.
We stayed in the spa cottage.
Luxury bedlinen for a relaxing and peaceful nights sleep.
The extra touches of port and quality chocolates were appreciated.
The included 5 star gourmet breakfasts and delicious cappuccinos were extremely yummy, and the perfect way to start the day.
Great to see they are using water efficient shower heads (although we like to spoil ourselves on holidays with strong water pressure, but happy to put the environment first).
Janie & Brett are very friendly, helpful and have gone the extra mile to offer an outstanding B&B.

this was our first B&B experience , so we were a tad nervous.
I chose this property from the trip advisor site last november & we were not disappointed.
reading the recent reviews for 2009 it seems Janie & Brett clearly know what travellers want & provide it.
Rooms were clean & cosy,we felt very welcome in their lovely house.
we had the back guest room with our own access & parking.
the breakfast: we dined with people from canada/nz, each bringing a story of tassie to the table....great fun.
We would definitley stay there again.
